Exploring Vienna, Austria’s elegant capital of art, music, and imperial history. How to get from Vienna International Airport to Downtown We purchased return bus tickets online in advance from Vienna Airport Lines . The cost for 2 return tickets was 40 Euro and the bus ride was only 20 minutes. The bus can be taken from Level 0, just outside the Arrivals area and runs every half hour. The route for downtown is VAL2 and the bus leaves from the stops 7,8 or 9. Alternatively, City Airport Train (CAT) can be used. The train ride is 16 minutes, leaves every half hour same as the bus but costs 25 Euro for a return ticket. Best Things to do in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Exploring Dubai, a city of modern skylines, desert landscapes, and tradition. Dubai International Airport to Downtown by public transportation The airport is not far from the city so getting to downtown from the airport is easy. The best public transportation option is taking the metro. Dubai has two main metro lines, red and green and the Red Line services the airport. There are also few bus routes that operate from dedicated stands at Arrivals in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and connect with city center. Our hotel was just 2 stops away. A ticket cost us 5 AED. To use the public transportation, we needed to buy NOL cards. The cost of a NOL Silver card is 25 AED and includes a 19 AED balance. We installed the NOL PAY App and through it we could load 7-Day passes. The cost for ALL ZONES was 110 AED. Using the app is easy load more money on the card whenever needed. Vietnam Itinerary: 10 Days in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, was our base for this 10-day Vietnam itinerary. How to get from Ho Chi Minh International Airport to District 1 Back to South-East Asia after our last month trip to Hong Kong , we arrived in Ho Chi Minh after midnight and spent almost one hour and a half to pass through immigration. Our choices to get to District 1 where our hotel was located, were limited. Basically we had to chose between taking a taxi or a using Grab services. The two recommended taxi companies in Saigon are Mai Linh (green) and Vinasun (white). In the end we opted for calling a Grab under the belief that would be cheaper. We paid 189,280 VND (Vietnamese Dong), around 10 CAD (Canadian Dollars) but given the time of the night and the high demand, it probably would have been a similar price with either one. Getting from Narita International Airport to Tokyo Station There are many ways to travel to downtown Tokyo, by public transportation, train or bus. Keisei Skyliner Express train is the fastest, the trip is about 40 min and costs Y2,570 one way. The trip ends at Ueno Station. Second fastest is Narita Express train, about 50 min trip to downtown stations like Tokyo, Shibuya or Shinagawa and the cost is Y3,070. We looked for the cheapest option so we travelled by the airport bus TYO-NRT, it took 62 min but only cost us Y1,300 per person to Tokyo Station. Alaska Cruise Experience: Highlights of an August Sailing

Cruising Alaska in August aboard the Queen Elizabeth with Cunard. We enjoyed our previous ALASKA CRUISE IN JUNE (also check our experience with Holland America Noordam Cruise ship ALASKA CRUISE IN MAY ) so much that we decided to go again, especially since the current itinerary included two new ports. We knew that going on a different month of the season, the landscapes might change and we might also see different wildlife. We chose to go again with Cunard’s Queen Elisabeth mainly because we had a great experience in the past with them and the cruise price was quite reasonable. Exploring Hong Kong & Macau

Getting from Hong Kong Airport to Hong Kong Island: Airport Express, MTR & Tips Less than a month since our trip to Japan , we landed in Hong Kong very early in the morning. After activating our phones E-Sims and exchanging some money to HKD (Hong Kong Dollars), we looked for a Service Counter to ask and purchase Octopus transport cards and train tickets to downtown. There are quite a few ways to get to downtown Hong Kong. We chose the Airport Express train being very easy to use and the fastest. Trains depart every 10 minutes and the ride takes only 24 minutes. The price for a ticket to the city is 120 HKD if you pay with Octopus card and 130 HKD if you pay by cash. At the ticket counter we were advised that we could use the “Ride Together” promotion so we ended paying only 170 HKD for both of us. A Las Vegas trip centered around the Rock ’n’ Roll Half Marathon, with trips to Hoover Dam the Sphere and more How to get from Las Vegas International Airport to Downtown Other than taxi or shared ride, it is very easy to get to Las Vegas Downtown using public transportation. Bus route 108, 109 and Centennial Express (CX), all stop on Level Zero at Terminal 1 and CX also serves Terminal 3. We took CX Bus from Terminal 3 to NB 4 th after Carson station, which was minutes away from Fremont Street Downtown Las Vegas where our hotel was located. The bus stop at Terminal 3 is located on Level 2, where you have to exit the terminal building and walk across the pedestrian crosswalk. The bus stop is across the exit door numbered 44. To find the bus stop at Terminal 1 you have to go to Level Zero, then exit the building, walk across and the covered bus stop will be at the right.
